Born from a love of wild nature and the art of slow, intentional design.[web:114][web:209]
Meadow & Muse started in a small Brooklyn studio in 2019, founded by a designer who left the corporate world to pursue something more rooted, tactile, and honest.
We were drawn to the imperfect beauty of wildflowers—the way they grow without rules, bend in the wind, and change with the seasons. That philosophy became the foundation of everything we create.[web:113][web:127]
Today, we're a small team of florists, foragers, and storytellers dedicated to slow floristry: sourcing seasonally, designing with intention, and building relationships with local growers who share our values.
Three principles that shape every arrangement, installation, and conversation.
We design around what's growing now—not forcing stems to travel thousands of miles. Local and seasonal whenever possible.[web:185]
Foam-free mechanics, compostable wraps, and mindful sourcing. Every arrangement designed to honor the earth.[web:179][web:186]
Every client has a unique narrative. We listen deeply and translate your story into botanical form.
Meadow & Muse is led by Elara Bennett, a Brooklyn-based designer with 15+ years across floral art, interior styling, and botanical installations.
Her work has been featured in Kinfolk, Martha Stewart Weddings, and The New York Times. She believes flowers should feel like they grew that way—unforced, honest, and alive.[web:127]
Whether it's a wedding, event, or weekly subscription, we'd love to tell your story through flowers.
